‘Puzzlewood is an ancient woodland in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England. The area contains strange rock formations, secret caves and ancient trees, with a confusing maze of paths. Puzzlewood is said to be one of J. R. R. Tolkien’s inspirations for Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings.’

It’s also been used more recently to film episodes of “Merlin” & “Doctor Who”.

Mossy Rocks!
Anyone know of somewhere similar that welcomes dogs?
There’s loads of places in the Forest of Dean that welcomes dogs Gareth. Puzzlewood is just about the only place that doesn’t. The Roman Road has walks in every direction and plenty of places to park your car. Try also Symonds Yat.
is their anything like this in the US?
