Wonderful photos. John Lennon’s makes me nervous though: they are going to get scratched!

Wow…I can’t even imagine that. Now we just stare blankly at tiny little electronics.

    Debbie Harry and Chris Stein!

I recall getting together with my BFFs and spending lazy afternoons just listening to records…..

Natalie Wood and Elvis dated briefly in 1956. His second LP was released around the time of their courtship. There it is on the top of the pile!

Damn I would love to have a huge vinyl collection, something about walking into someones home with shelves packed chock-full-a-block of vinyl’s just gives you a good homely feeling. Doesn’t bother me if their quality isn’t good or anything, something about them just makes me feel good.

I grew up in the 70′s, collected 45′s as preteen and Lp’s through High school. I still have them all. never selling them. Listening to records was an activity, not just background entertainment. I miss those days when you could’t wait to listen to you newest album, and you could listen to it over & over till you knew all the words!

So! John Lennon owned a Guild Starfire?! (The beautiful guitar in the front of the shot). The man had great taste!

Goodness. Doesn’t any celebrity know how to hold records? There’s going to be finger prints all over them!
    Great collection of photos.
