‘After over seventy years languishing in a box the BMW R7 has been restored to its former glory. The motorcycle was manufactured in 1934 as a prototype and never went into production It was put in a box and into storage after some usable parts were stripped and used in other projects.
‘In June 2024, the box was opened. Inside, the R7 was 70 per cent complete, but its condition was not good. Restoration became slightly easier when the original design drawings were discovered in the BMW archives.
‘It is now displayed in the BMW Museum and on the road’

Oh my god!
A time capsule from the time when style had not died yet and we had good designers who could create with class!
What a beautiful bike, the aerodynamics are just perfect. Would loved to have know what the top speed of this bike was (as I think it would have been surprisingly fast)
Look at these fenders! I’d like to buy this bike immediately.
I want one…..what a beauty.
