“Extraordinary aerial footage of uncontacted Amazon tribe released”

“This unique film shows uncontacted Indians on the Brazil-Peru border in never-seen-before detail. It is the first-ever aerial footage of an uncontacted community. The footage was filmed by the BBC in collaboration with the Brazilian government, for the new BBC 1 ‘Human Planet’ series.”

These people should be left alone, like all tribes “civelized” people came across in the past… Screwed up the balance on earth….

I had no idea that small prop planes could move so slowly. Unless, of course, it found that “time vortex” that was missing in yesterday’s post.

    FAKE!!!

This footage was published two years ago by the media with the same title: “uncontacted”. But they were contacted a few years ago.

Pups is correct that this is old news. Not that it was really news - they weren’t contacted just a few years ago either.

Anthropology blog Savage Minds addressed the topic of ‘uncontacted tribes’ in 2024. I strongly recommend the article here rather than getting excitable about an “uncontacted” peepshow.
