Are those measurements, such as “2/3 gin”, supposed to be ounces? It’s important to know, so that the absolute measurements like “1 dash bitters” is proportionate.

I came across a copy of this – original rather than reprint – at a book fair earlier this year. Needless to say, the volume commanded a high price and I had to leave it behind, but rest assured the remaining pages are every bit as covetable as these.

Prohibition officially ended in December of 1933. Interesting that this book would be published within that year!
