Where did you find that picture of my girl-friend?
I wouldn’t have a clue what year it’s from but that photo is hilarious!
Hmm. I inherited some hair pins similar to what she has in her hair. I always understood them to be from my great grandmother who was born around 1870. I will say 1888.
I’d also say mid to late 1880s.
Very rough guess – 1880. Great picture!
1883
1860s?
1878.
1871-1874, easy. The exact year within that range? Agh. 1873?
I’ll guess 1890 and the picture is from here

Fairly recentish would be my guess – with long exposure times being de rigueur way back when, would she be able to keep her eyes crossed long enough?
1909
Based on the quality of the image and he clotthing, I’ll say 1885.
1886.
I’d just be guessing – but based on when tintypes were popular, I’d say 1867
Hmmm…part of me thinks this was actually taken fairly recently and photoshop’d a bit, because her eyebrows are plucked pretty thin. The other part of me wants to say 1903.
The sleeves are making me think of dresses from around the American Civil War era, I’m guessing 1870 or around there.
