China’s Red Restaurants

‘As China’s communist party celebrates its 90th anniversary, crowds are packing into Beijing’s cultural revolution-themed restaurants, where patrons can eat their way through a tumultuous history. Servers dressed like Red Army soldiers, Red Guards and peasants dance to revolutionary songs while delivering food.’

The woman in picture 2 looks like she is wearing modern running shoes.

Let’s open an Nazi concentration camp restaurant too! Or maybe a Ol’ Timey Plantation joint where proper negros serve the folks enjoying the family fun aspects of slavery. Would you like fries with that, massa! Horrible. It shows just what a joke the Chinese government is…actually I would laugh if freedom of expression wasn’t being suppressed. Thanks, Retronaut for the very modern glimpse.
