I was there a couple of weeks ago (<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/davemorris/tags/cardross/" rel="nofollow">a few photos here</a>) and there have been more fires on the site, damaging a lot of the wooden panelling and some of the glulam beams over the altar area - hitting and breaking the altar on their way down. Sill a fascinating place, though, and well worth a visit! It’s now even more dilapidated than it appears in these photos.
