I would loved to have stumbled upon that box of negatives. The images are amazing, and such a vast and varied collection, and from a woman, at that time, would surely have been rare. Vivian Maier deserves to be well known and attain posthumous recognition, and it is so good that they are working to preserve all her efforts. It could have easily fallen in to less caring hands. I would volunteer to help scan if it meant that the full collection could be actualized sooner, and tour major galleries. I hope one day I can see them for real. This is such a moving story.
