I cannot help but think what did they do that made them criminals. Having said that, many don't even look like "criminals", but have been included in a stereotyped category. Sure, assuming they have commited petty crimes, somehow "criminals" is still too big and heavy a word for them. And pictures of some women, particularly, evokes pathos. Very intriguing pictures.
