“On June 17th* every year, my family goes through a private ritual: we photograph ourselves to stop, for a fleeting moment, the arrow of time passing by”

Thank you to Andrea Kiss
*This date was first published as June 13th. Thank you to Luis (below) for pointing out the mistake.
Everyone should (be made to) do this.
And they should have started doing this in the year 1900.
I love this, what an amazing idea. I wish we had started before we had our daugther, I think it’s great the way you see their family growing, it was such a happy surprise when the 3rd son appeared on the timeline. I am so pinching this idea!

I like how one of the kids has started doing it with his family.
A fine looking family. Can’t help noticing how haggard the two parents look in 1995 when the offspring are all young teenagers - no coincidence I am sure…….!!!!

I’m amazed that you had the discipline to keep this up year after year. And what a beautiful family you have! So interesting how Nicolas of 2024 looks an awful lot like Diego of 1997.
Diego and Susy held up so well over the years!

This is such an inspiring idea. Any idea on where the family is now? Or how the photos were published?
Thanks so much for sharing! xoxo
A great idea indeed - definately considering this ourselves now! On a side note, does anyone else think the dad is developing towards Gil Grissom from CSI, why the sons look more and more like they might end up on Americas most wanted at some stage early 2024?
Goes to show people actually get better looking as they get older.
That’s a great idea.Love it very much!
This is so creative! I would forget to do it each year … I’m forgetful like that.
