There was the "Three Magpies" and the "Old Magpies". The "Old Magpies" was a wooden framed thatched structure - see above, while the "Three Magpies" as the modern link you gave shows is still there and from its architecture you can see it was built (I'd hazard a guess) between 1890 and 1920.
